Universal truths need no justification, but an example adds strength to any fact. Hereby, I want to quote one of those instances when it was proven that our Guru Maharaj is not merely a human being; he is someone divine who has incarnated just to ensure our healthy living.
Tides come and pass away, but the stirring transitoriness of this world could never be scrutinized. From dawn to dusk, every day witnesses some changes, to be precise. If there was any entity that was constant, it was the glowing glory of Shree Guru Maharaj. Universal truths need no justification, but an example adds strength to any fact. Hereby, I want to quote one of those instances when it was proven that our Guru Maharaj is not merely a human being; he is someone divine who has incarnated just to ensure our healthy living.
A real guru is not known by his doings but by his sayings. His teachings are heart-touching; he leads his devotees to the real path of life, which he is destined for, for which he has been sent to this earth.
“A real experience by one of the devotees: They were not having a child after 2-3 years of marriage. When they approached Guru Maharaj, they were told that their stars were not in their favor. They were asked to wait for some time, and when the time came, Guru Ji blessed the couple with twins. The wife conceived and had twins, one boy and one girl, a complete family at one go.”
He has divine powers, which are unsaid or untold and are to be experienced only. Such is our Guru Maharaj.
“It was the auspicious day of ‘Sthapna Diwas,’ i.e., May 27, 1998. Every entity in the Ashram was enchanting on the beautiful occasion. All were busy with their respective work. It looked as if God above was daring to come into the compound of the Ashram, which was filled with thousands of people. The biggest fantasy for all the devotees on such an occasion is the ‘Bhojan Prasad.’ As usual, the menu was as delicious as a chhappan bhog liked by Shri Krishna. Ashok Halwai was assigned the work of preparing the Bhojan Prasad. He had employed his men, who were working in the Ashram’s Rasoi. Suddenly, news came that one of these men got extremely burnt by splattering hot ghee over him, and it was indeed true as that man looked completely burnt. He had found himself on the verge of death in no time. The reason was that the major burns were in the region around his heart. Ashok Halwai looked completely out of sorts as he had hired these men on his own responsibility. This burnt man was taken to Shri Guru Maharaj. Guru Ji saw him gently and slowly moved his hand over the burns of that person. All others were staring without a single blink of an eye. And would you believe it, this man, who was in the hands of death at some stage, was back to work in two days. Well, this is the glowing glory.
One more miracle happened the same day. Some people went to Maharaj and said that the desi ghee was about to finish and it would take a lot of time to go and buy more from the market, which was not nearby by any means. Guru Ji himself went to the Rasoi and threw the water from a big container into the big utensil kept on the fire. The throats of people got choked with emotions when that water turned into desi ghee. These are a few instances that instill our faith in Shri Guru Maharaj. When counting these instances, the count would reach infinity, as every devotee of Shri Guruji has something special to tell about.”
A PRAYER
When in despair with misfortune; delight me with fortune. I all alone think of your humble presence and crave nothing but for you to cleanse the impurities of my mind. Feast my eyes, forever, touching your hallowed feet.
It is but your name that regionalizes my mind. Wondering eyes of my mind watch your wonders often, Wondered your devotees; what is in a Name? That you are clothed in all names.
Please drag me along the path of devotion. Despair me not; drench me not in delight. Dispel the darkness with your divine light. Develop the frequency of chanting your name, Guru Maharaj.
